Tastefully decorated and nice cosy units and efficient staff who are always on hand to give great service. Comfy beds & good-sized bathroom. The calming feel of the place and very central location.

The unique environment
The noisy ventilation system does not fit into the romantic surroundings at all.

The hotel, the rooms, the location and everything that is offered here is more than perfect for a relaxed family vacation in the New Forest. We'll be back!
Everything was fantastic and has more than exceeded our expectations.

We had a very enjoyable three days at the bealieu hotel. Our room was of a good size, very comfortable bed, and all the facilities you need. Nice and clean, everything done, made and replenished during the day while we were out. Quite expensive for Bed & Breakfast, but hey - you get what you pay for! We had dinner here and every meal was delicious, our last evening was our Silver Wedding Anniversary, really lovely evening with flowers on the table and exceptional service. We will definitely return, and hopefully soon! Anne ( Pauline) & Ollie Turner, Banbury, Oxfordshire.

The room was cozy and well-located. The atmosphere of the hotel was tranquil. The dining experience fell short with overpriced, inconsistent food quality and poor management regarding billing. The lack of a proper wine list further diminished the dining experience as well.

Whole experiencing very relaxing. Food excellent, also the service which was efficient at the same time as being unobtrusive. Restaurant staff coped very well with our large gathering and noone was kept waiting for food.
Reason I only gave a "fair" for the location was because I do not drive and the train service is very infrequent - although the hotel is only a few minutes' walk from the station, which is a plus.

The location is fantastic. The staff are second to none, excellent. The food is good. Our room was clean, everything worked as it should and we had plenty of space.
I'm affraid that we found the hotel quite noisey from other guests. We were a little put off by the dogs that were allowed to stay with guests in rooms. The hotel was also very hot, I missed breakfast on the second day due to the dinning room being to hot and no doors or windows open? I would also like to see an alternative menu to the a la carte that is offered.

beautiful location but needs improvement
The location is fine in the middle of the New Forest, surrounded by nature. My room was a classic double with a comfy bed and a tv. The indoor swimming pool was nice, but breakfast was mediocre with dry bacon and odd tasting scrambled eggs. Staff were friendly, but the dining experience needs work.

The food was good ,but drinks expensive and added significantly to the bill. The hotel itself is on Beaulieu Heath so quiet and remote - apart from the train going by . The bath and shower worked well..
The room was of standard quality and expensive for a double room. The hotel had very few original features remaining - a lot of extension work made of plasterboard means that you hear everything through the walls! Overall a sleepless night- We expected a 16th Century building - not like that at all!

Food and crockery left on tables overnight outside the Garden rooms encouraging rats and wild animals

Perfect for nature lovers
What a fantastic hotel, hidden in the forest! We were greeted by a lovely receptionist who instantly, like she had known us forever. The view from our room was amazing-I woke up to see wild ponies outside the window every morning. It was great to walk straight out into untouched nature and relax after a long day.
It wasn't exactly inexpensive but worth every penny.
