The atmosphere of the hotel was tranquil, providing a relaxing getaway. the dining experience fell short with overpriced, inconsistent food quality and poor management regarding billing. The lack of a proper wine list further diminished the dining experience as well.

The location is stunning in the middle of the New Forest, surrounded by nature. My room was a classic double with a comfy bed and a flat-screen TV. The indoor swimming pool was nice, but breakfast was mediocre with dry bacon and odd tasting scrambled eggs. Staff were friendly, but the dining experience needs work.

What a fantastic hotel, hidden in the forest! We were greeted by a lovely receptionist who instantly made us feel at home, like she had known us forever. The view from our room was breathtaking—I woke up to see wild ponies outside the window every morning. It was brilliant to walk straight out into untouched nature and relax after a long day.

It wasn't exactly inexpensive but worth every penny.

We really enjoyed our stay, especially making use of the relaxing garden area and cozy TV room during our downtime.
